Alome Stein, Psy.D.

Dr. Stein obtained her degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago. She brings 15 years of clinical experience to her work with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma/abuse, and relationship difficulties. Integrating traditional psychodynamic therapy with specialized training in Eastern Philosophy and mind/body-based therapies like yoga, meditation, Focusing and Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dr. Stein seeks to empower each client toward finding balance between fostering greater self awareness and expression, and building connections through relationships and community. In addition to her work with groups, families, couples, and adult individuals, Dr. Stein consults to business organizations and the community, creating learning communities, fostering team collaboration and creativity, and facilitating whole systems change.
