Dr. Kelly
S. Johnson is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist,
School Psychologist and Neuropsychologist who
specializes in the evaluation and therapy of
children, adolescents, young adults and their
families. Specialty areas include working with
gifted populations, assessment of Twice Exceptional
children (Gifted with learning disabilities),
evaluation of psychological challenges,
comprehensive assessment of executive functioning
challenges -- including attentional disorders --,
gifted admissions testing, and therapy to treat
depression, anxiety, and behavioral management
issues.
The aim
of testing and therapy is to aid clients in arriving
at their highest level of functioning, including
emotional harmony, relational skill development,
social-community interaction and
creative-problem-solving. A medley of modalities
are used, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy,
relational therapy, and insight-driven therapy --
depending on the age and needs of the individual.
